Payment of Dues
Dues are payable annually on or before the anniversary date of membership. The anniversary date remains the same if renewed within 30 days. If the membership is not renewed within 60 days, a joiner fee will be required upon rejoining. Members may pay in full by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express or monthly by a Pre-Authorized Withdrawal (P.A.W.) plan which deducts the amount due from the member's checking, savings, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express account. Those purchasing memberships on the P.A.W. plan are required to make an initial payment and sign forms authorizing the YMCA to draw from their checking, savings, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express account 1/12 the annual fee each month. There is no interest or service charge. The P.A. W. membership may be cancelled by turning in all membership cards and signing a cancellation form at the YMCA prior to the 15th of the month, to become effective by the first of the following month. It is expected that a member will stay on this plan at least one year. If a P.A.W. is cancelled, another initial payment will be required to get back on the plan. P.A.W. memberships are continuous until cancelled.

Membership Cards
Membership cards must be scanned at the Member Services Center for admittance when using the facilities. A lost card will be replaced for a charge of $1.00. Proper identification is required. MEMBERSHIP CARDS CAN ONLY BE USED BY THE MEMBER. THEY CANNOT BE LOANED, SOLD OR TRANSFERRED, SUBJECT TO LOSS OF PRIVILEGES.

Membership Transfers or Refunds
Memberships cannot be sold or transferred to another person. Refunds are made only in case of accident or long-term illness and will be considered only within the first six months of joining, subject to approval of the Executive Director. Most YMCAs across the country will honor your Anderson YMCA membership providing both have comparable facilities. If you are relocating to another community with a YMCA, you should ask our staff to assist your communication with the new YMCA start up.
