Silver Sneakers
Silver Sneakers is a health and fitness program designed for adults 65+ that’s included with many Medicare Plans. Eligible seniors or those with Medicare may have FREE access to the YMCA through their health insurance plan.
Renew Active
With Renew Active, from UnitedHealthcare® it's easy to keep your fitness routine fresh and fun. You can visit any of our YMCA facilities or Virtual YMCA at no additional cost to you as part of your UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan.
Silver & Fit
To see if your health insurance plan offers Silver & Fit please visit the Silver & Fit website or stop by your local YMCA front desk. If your plan does offer Silver & Fit, you'll get a FREE standard membership to the YMCA. This gives you access to most YMCA programs. Additional fees do apply for programs and special classes.
FAQs
Although this is not a standard YMCA membership, it does provide you access to all YMCA facilities through your health insurance.
Members are required to check in at the front desk with their access card every time they visit the YMCA.
You'll need to check with the facility you'd like to access to see if they accept your insurance-based membership.
Program-only participants (including Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit, or other like programs) are not eligible for nationwide membership. Silver Sneakers® members may be able to visit other locations with Silver Sneakers®, please contact the Y you wish to visit. Members can also contact their insurance company for a list of participating facilities.
